A modular grenade is an explosive weapon that can be Crafted using the Craft hotkey.

How to Craft

  • Press the Craft hotkey (e.g. 'G')
  • Put it on the ground
  • Get 1 LV cable in your active hand
  • Left click the modular grenade on the ground with the cable
  • Get a timer trigger from a Protolathe in your active hand
  • Left click the modular grenade on the ground with the timer trigger
  • Get a chemical payload from a Protolathe in your active hand
  • Put it on the ground next to the modular grenade
  • Put chemicals into 2 beakers (e.g. Phosporous, Sugar & Potassium to make smoke) e.g. from a Chemical Dispenser
  • Left click the chemical payload on the ground with the two beakers
  • Pick up the chemical payload (with nothing in your hand)
  • Left click the modular grenade on the ground with the chemical payload
  • Pick up grenade
  • Right click on it to set timer (the default 5 seconds)
  • Click Use hotkey
  • Click the Throw hotkey
