'''OR'''
* All confirmed/suspected threats to the station and/or crew have been handled, or simply vanished on their own. It is recommended that, after 15+ minutes on Code Blue without any hostile activity, Code Green be called;

There is an unknown threat on the station, and therefore must be elevated from Green to Blue. If the threat is identified, set to the relevant alert level.

There is a known threat (most likely an intruder) that poses a threat to all non-combatants. Security is allowed to use lethal force, and non-combatants should follow all orders by present authorities

There is a [[Virology|viral]] threat to the station, this may be a disease or something worse.

Alert levels

Alert levels are variables that define the station's status.

Green

Attention! Station alert level is now green! It is now safe to return to your workplaces. The default alert level. This usually means there is no existing threat to the station.

Blue

Attention! Station alert level is now blue! There is an unknown threat on the station. Security is allowed to preform random checks. Crewmembers are advised to follow commands issued by any relevant authority.

There is an unknown threat on the station, and therefore must be elevated from Green to Blue. If the threat is identified, set to the relevant alert level.

Yellow

Attention! Station alert level is now Yellow! There is a structural or atmospheric threat within the station. Engineering staff are advised to immediately respond and perform safety measures. Crewmembers are advised to stay away from the threat, and stay in their workplaces if necessary.

The Yellow Alert level is when there is a structural or atmospheric threat to the station, caused by an event, or a very special someone.

Red

Attention! Station alert level is now Red! There is a known threat on the station. Security is allowed to use lethal force if necessary. Crewmembers should find a safe place to shelter in, and are advised to follow any present authorities.

There is a known threat (most likely an intruder) that poses a threat to all non-combatants. Security is allowed to use lethal force, and non-combatants should follow all orders by present authorities

Violet

Attention! Station alert level is now Violet! There is a viral threat on the station. Medical staff are advised to isolate crewmembers with any symptoms. Crewmembers are advised to distance themselves from others and perform safety measures to prevent further spread.

There is a viral threat to the station, this may be a disease or something worse.

Special Alert Levels

These are alert levels that only admemes or the game itself can set them to.

Delta

Attention! Station alert level is now Delta! The station is currently under threat of imminent destruction. Crewmembers are advised to listen to heads of staff for more information.

This alert level can only be set via the nuke so far, this alert level in layman's terms: Run the fuck away.

Gamma

Attention! Station alert level is now {$name}! {$announcement}

An admeme alert level. This is usually the Red alert level, but for events.

Epsilon

Attention! Station alert level is now {$name}! {$announcement}

An admeme alert level. Epsilon essentially means the station is not worth saving, and decides to burn it all down. Usually after reading this announcement, a Nanotrasen Deathsquad will arrive at the station's doorstep.
